Job Title: Security Systems Sales Consultant

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Evenings and weekends as needed)
Compensation: Base Draw of $40,000 + Commission on Equipment and Recurring Subscriptions
Petty Cash Allowance: $500 per month

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Security Systems Sales Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling security systems, including in-house provided leads, and generating their own leads through proactive community involvement and networking. This role requires building strong relationships within the community, participating in local Chambers of Commerce, networking groups, Builder associations, Insurance offices, and other outreach efforts to grow the company’s presence and increase sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation:
Sell residential and commercial security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
Manage a blend of company-provided leads and self-generated leads through various channels.
Utilize cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation techniques to develop new business.
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and homeowners to drive alarm system sales.
Community Engagement:
Actively participate in local Chambers of Commerce, networking groups, Insurance offices and other community events to identify potential clients.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with key contacts in the community to facilitate ongoing sales opportunities.
Attend community meetings and events to promote company services and network with potential customers.
Customer Relationship Management:
Provide professional presentations to customers, explaining the features and benefits of our alarm and security systems.
Develop customized security solutions based on customer needs.
Maintain customer relationships post-sale to ensure satisfaction and drive referral business.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the installation and support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Provide feedback to management on market trends and customer preferences.
Qualifications:
2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the alarm, CCTV, or access control industries.
Ability to pass a state background check to obtain Sales License
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Proven track record in sales, with a focus on self-generated leads.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Experience with systems like Honeywell Vista, 2GIG, Qolsys, Alarm.com, Hikvision, and Prodatakey is preferred but not required. Willing to train the right candidate.
Pay structure:
Range: $40,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Base salary Draw of $40,000 with commission potential.
10% commission on equipment sales and fixed commissions for recurring subscription services.
$500 monthly petty cash allowance.
